Featuring an all-star cast headed up by rising talent Daphne Keen, His Dark Materials is an adaption of the famous and much loved trilogy by Philip Pullman.
Directed in part by Academy Award winner Tom Hooper, His Dark Materials is the BBC’s biggest budget production to date, and is due to air on BBC One in the UK, November 2019. International distribution will be handled by HBO.
Mission’s senior technicians Alex Golding and Phil Humphries provided DIT duties across multiple shooting units, with Alex Dias and Phil Aichinger providing QTAKE video playback services. Our locally-based digital dailies lab was headed up by Dailies Colourist Ram Tripathi, and run with the assistance of our Cardiff team: James Khan, Matt Williams and Matt Pugh.
